I love this machine ... compact yet powerful! I researched the rear engine mowers because I wanted a tighter turn radius and the ability to see right in front of me while mowing. This machine delivers on all fronts. I have a smaller yard with some trees and a few obstacles and this mower does a good job navigating. Safety features (most of which revolve around disengaging the blade) strike a balance between ease of use and prevention of accidents from doing stupid stuff. I can’t deny that I also love this mower for nostalgic reasons — this mower has a classic look that hasn’t changed over the years (think of the movie “Can’t Buy Me Love”)
Overall this mower gets 5+ stars - powerful, gives a great cut, perfect size (not too big, not too small). This is one of the few rear engine mowers with a 15HP motor; definitely elevates you from nerd to cool instantly!
