I bought this track barrow to help with a retaining wail I am building. Due to it being delivered to the end of my 300' driveway, which cannot be negotiated by a 40' tractor-trailer, I had to uncrate and assemble it there, then drive it down to my garage. This was fairly easy to do, as I had preplanned by reading the owner's manual online and had oil and gas ready.
So far I have moved a number of full loads of dirt. The track barrow made this a lot easier than it would have been with a regular wheel barrow, as my yard has substantial slopes.
The engine starts easily and is reliable so far. The barrow's controls are stiff. Turning is difficult, with the left-hand control more difficult to use than the right. The barrow WILL rip up your lawn if turned very much more than minimally, especially when fully loaded on wet ground. I did not expect anything different, as this is the nature of any tracked vehicle, but it's wrong of the manufacturer to claim that it won't rip up your lawn.
One major disappointment is the gearbox. Gears are not where they are marked to be, and it is not easy or simple to change gears. First gear is particularly difficult to find, as it is actually in the middle of the line between 'N' and '1'. I find that I select an undocumented neutral between the gears more often than the actual gear. Also, being a non-synchro gearbox, it is frequently necessary to engage and release drive momentarily in order to get the gear lever to move to the desired gear, just like one used to have to do with older cars with manual gears lacking sunchro on first and reverse.
