I have had this mower one week. I researched mowers for about two months. I have owned a Dixie Chopper, a Husqvarna, a Bob Cat, and a John Deere. This is by far the best mower I have ever owned. I have a rather steep 3.5-acre yard. The ZT-2800 transmission was a must in my mind. ALL my mowers have slid down the hill in front of my house. This one did NOT! It could even STOP! Mid-hill! I And the grass was wet! I was blown away. The cut is also, by far, the best I have ever had. I mowed at 4 inches and there were no stragglers. I will see how it lasts, but I have been very impressed. I was not expecting to like it this much.
