Shindaiwa SP53BPE 5 gal. Backpack Sprayer "Euro-Style"

I just bought a new one of these. My previous 5-Gallon Shindaiwa sprayer was purchased in 1999 and only after 22 years has it reached a point where it does not hold tank pressure very well (still works but have to prime it a lot more than should have to). That is the only reason I replaced it because even though it is leaking some air from the seals it does not leak product. I'd say the way these are built they are worth every penny! Even the wand configuration on the new sprayer is the same as the one from 1999 (used HDPE then too). Don't hesitate - you'll replace countless cheaper sprayers over the years vs buying this one and spending a little more.

I do lawn care professionally and this sprayer is by far the BEST I've ever used... I use to use the round up sprayers from Lowe's but they need replacing every year, 2 years if your lucky. The build and quality of this sprayer is far more Superior. Hoping to get many years of use, we shall see how well it holds up...

Lets face it. Shindiawa is pretty much top shelf. I've used many of their tools over the past 25 years and have always found them to be worth the asking price. From start to finish Shindiawa gets the job done. This sprayer is used with another Shindiawa sprayer, a #415. The older sprayer gives you the option of setting it up for either side operation. The new one does not and it is a wee bit of effort to use it as it is. But nothing that can't be overcome with use. I'm just accustomed to the wand on one side, pump on other with the 415. I am certain it will become second nature after some use.

Pump Sprayer is good quality and was shipped in good condition. Took about a week to ship.

It has worked well so far. Beats the small handheld pump every 2 second kind
