Prime Time Premium Tall Fescue Turf Grass Seed - 50 lb Bag

I bought 2 bags of this last year, to "overseed" an existing lawn in the fall. I put that in quotes because my prior lawn was pretty rough.......I was essentially planting a new lawn, not really overseeding. After following the directions and watering the seed in properly, I have the BEST lawn I've ever had, this spring. Thick, dark green, and beautiful. I will be buying more to actually overseed this next fall, as I fully expect the lawn to still be in great shape come fall.

This is the second 50lb bag I've purchased. The price of the seed is very reasonable but the shipping price was much higher. The seed is excellent and germinates within 7 days in proper weather conditions. The second year the grass was very thick and green. I'm very satisfied with this product.

This seed is by far superior to anything you will in big box stores. It germinates quickly and will make your yard look amazing. Water it in for 10-15 minutes daily for a week and watch the magic happen. It does have the ability to spread out and fill in holes, very lush and green in color. It does grow very fast, meaning you will have to mow it twice a week during some months of the season. Put the fertilizer down with it and just watch. It also stripes well, and lays nicely when cut with a quality mower. I'm a homeowner so I take my yard game seriously. This seed is outstanding.

This grass seed mixture is by far the best seed I’ve come across in 25 years. I live in the Winston-Salem, NC area where we experience drought and high temperatures periods from July through October. I put down a 50lb bag in September 2016 after plugging the yard. The grass came in full and dark green. The yard has never looked better. My neighbors have come over asking what I did to the lawn to make it look so good. I higlhy recommend this seed. Make sure you water yard accordingly. I wish it more widely distributed in my area.
