Oregon does not list this bar as working with my Husky 257, but it appears it might. Oregon does list 240RNDK095, so I assume this one simply has a slightly different gauge (058 vs. 050). I have 058 chain that should work. I was a bit surprised that the bar will not bolt onto a Husky 61, but that is to be expected because the 61 has been around for 30 years or so.
The quality and workmanship of this bar is excellent, so my opinion at this point is also excellent. I will be testing it shortly to be sure that it works with my Husky 257 and a few other large saws in my collection. I believe a list of saws compatible with this bar would have been very helpful, but I understand that such a list would have been very difficult to obtain, even from the manufacturer.
