Nice trailer so far

Good trailer hauled a few loads of firewood. A 1/4 of a cord fits in the trailer right up to the top of the sides.

It's just OK

We had two issues with the quality of the trailer. There was a huge glop of galvanizing right where the side rail needs to bolt to the bed. I had to borrow an angle grinder and grind it off. The side brackets that hold the side rails flare out so when you close the tailgate it doesn't fit in. You have to get it close, then reach out and push the side over so it catches. This can only be accomplished by leaving the one side loose and not being able to properly torque it down. Of most concerning, I called the DK2 support line, reached SOMEONE in the office who took my information down and told me tech support would contact me Monday morning. That was 3 weeks ago. Tells me this company has the same quality as its product.

Longer term review - outstanding trailer

I bought this trailer for various light duty hauling about a year ago. This trailer is versatile and rugged and it has worked extremely well overall. I've used the drive-on gate and the flip-down front for many different size loads, and hauled furniture, mulch, lumber, trash, and other items with zero issues. It is stable on smooth on the highway. Construction with hand tools took several hours but was straight-forward. An extra set of hands during the building process is recommended (but wasn't absolutely necessary if the person building it can comfortably handle moving heavy and large items).
This has proven to be a great alternative to buying a truck for me - and has a much larger bed than my old Ranger.

Not cheap but worth the money

I looked at the trailers from all the large stores and could see that in them before they left the lot. Living in the South with terrible humidity I knew it wouldn't be long and the whole trailer would be rusted. I started looking on the internet and found this one. It was more expensive but I took a chance and I am glad I did. The trailer is very well built and is heavily galvanized. I also had a nice surprise when it arrived. It came with a matching spare tire, tire cover and tongue jack. I had no realized they came with it.
Assembly was easy and the lights were plug and play. Very happy with the purchase.

Good

This trailer is great for a home use trailer, especially if you don't plan on making it road legal. Its overall construction is good, and was very easy to assemble with the included instructions. The only problem I ran into was the Certificate of origin needed sent back, and I needed an enhanced inspection performed on this trailer as the certificate of origin states that it is only sold as a kit. I would check with your local tags and title place to see if you need to have an enhanced inspection done, as it costs about $100, plus the cost of title and tags and tax. Overall though it is a decent piece of equipment and I would purchase it again, as in comparison to other trailers of similar capabilities, this was still my most cost effective way to go.
