The Kawasaki FX850V-(A)S49-S is a 0.85 l (852 cc, 51.99 cu-in) V-twin 90° air-cooled 4-stroke internal combustion small gasoline engine with vertical shaft. The Kawasaki FX850V-EFI has V-twin design with vertical PTO shaft. The motor uses overhead V-valves; spherical combustion chamber; cast iron cylinder liners; integrated clean out ports; proven open loop design. The engine is equipped with sequential multi-port fuel injection; integrated electronic governor; automatic compression release; compact electronic control unit; electronic altitude compensation; electronic ignition system with variable spark timing. The FX850V EFI motor uses a pressurized lubrication system and high-pressure fuel injection system with an electronic fuel pump.
