I would buy another in a minute

Second Husky ZTR l have owned. Lowest price compared to any comparable equipped competitor. Try to find anyone else making a 54” heavy fabricated deck, Kawasaki 23.5 heavy version engine, Hydro-Gear 3400 tranny mower at a cheaper price....You won’t. Engine maintenance is simple. The deck is super strong. I took off the ROPS-stupid and useless. Using Oregon heat treated blades and the add-on deck mulch kit is perfect. I am a residential owner, not a commercial guy, this thing will last a long time. Greasable spindles-good. Only complaint- back tires, crappy traction !!!! Should have aggressive 12 x24’s instead of the lame 10.5 x23’s. I can fix that flaw..... 4th year of ownership,100 hrs.-no parts except for blades, grease, oil, and filters. Good enough for me, mr. average homeowner. Wife loves it, says lawn cutting is a great relaxer.

have some complaints

The ROPS bar is entirely too high. After lowering it, it is still too high to get under low branches. It's dangerous, when it contacts a branch, it will flip the front wheel right up off the ground. With the canopy completely removed, it's too light on the rear wheels, causing the rears wheels to spin down to the dirt, trying to change directions, or after stopping, and trying to back up on a desending grade. You wonder why you are not moving, and look back at the wheels spinning where grass used to be. Needs about 75 lbs of wheel weight for the rears. Controls are stiff and have some delay, compared to my Hustler, it's difficult to steer and keep in a straight line. The turning geometry of the mower is not right somehow, and makes trimming around small trees difficult. Plus the deck vibrates.

Not a commercial quality mower. Warranty and service very poor. Expected much more from the sales hype.
