Good mower, great price, outstanding shipping

This is my 2nd MZ61 from SLE in 3 years. 1st mower needed only a PTO after >40 hrs of personal use. Tried to have the repair made at a Husqvarna service shop on warranty. Mechanics said my engine was toast. Husqvarna said it was Briggs $ Stratton's problem. Briggs & Stratton said it was my fault. Weeks later, and close to 450.00 dollars lighter, I retrieved the pieces of my mower. The BBB was of no help. I now own a Bad Boy Outlaw XP from a local dealer. It's needing repairs, I'm spinning the wrenches. At least I'm making new mistakes. Here's what I've learned from all this drama 1) Trust shops/mechanics that have earned it 2) Don't mow tall, thick, wet grass 3) These mowers are tough, well-engineered machines that prefer to be stored indoors. Pushing your luck in wet areas can result in yard art that requires a tractor to remove. PS If you haven't tried a mower with a suspension, you will not believe the improvement in comfort. Rabbits, armadillos and other rodents make for some rough riding. PPS Shipping crates prevented any damage. Fed-Ex kept in contact, delivered when we agreed, and the driver was helpful and professional.

Decent mower for a few acres a day

Great mower if you mow fields that don't grow too high fast...great power to spread grass, changed the grass shoot for a Dixie chopper flap with the holes for when I want to pile up grass or mulch leaves better...would not recommend if planning to use over 4 cutting hours in a single day. Briggs motor tends to have problems with oil conservation, smokes pretty bad before it even hit 100 total hours and had to replace the motor
