Generac 9884 is an Extreme Cold Weather Kit for large 100 kW to 150 kW liquid-cooled standby generators with the 9.0L V-8 engine. This add-on provides a high-wattage, thermostatically controlled engine block heater. It is mandatory to use it with the standard battery warming kit (9883) and synthetic oil, ensuring the massive engine starts reliably and quickly in severe, sub-zero climates, preventing destructive cold-start wear.
