Generac 5618 is an Extreme Cold Weather Kit for the 6.8L V-10 liquid-cooled standby generator (70kW to 150kW models). This heavy-duty, add-on kit provides an engine block heater and necessary hardware. It must be used alongside the basic battery warming kit and synthetic oil to ensure the massive engine starts reliably and efficiently in sustained sub-zero temperatures, protecting the engine from excessive strain.
