Echo 330105075 5 lb Spool .105 Black Diamond

I have been weed cutting for 35 years and have used every size and style of line that is available. This Black diamond line, under the proper conditions, is by far the fastest cutting line that is available. I use around 3000 feet of line per season (April-June) here in the Northern California foothills where the weeds are both tall and tough. Currently, I run two Echo SRM 410U (42.7cc) machines and use several different brands of line for different conditions, but the Black Diamond .105 is my choice for fast work in open areas. In rocky, wooded areas where I use substantially more line, I often switch to other styles of line that are more durable when cutting around rocks, sticks, and debris.

We have been using black diamond.105 for more than a year now. It’s been the best between the regular string or crosscut line then we have used in 4 years. The regular round string is ok and gets the job done just like crosscut line but it’s loud and bogs down the trimmer when in heavy or thick grass/weeds. Black diamond.95 and .105 cuts quickly and quietly with very minimal bog down of our equipment. Even when using our srm 225 trimmer, black diamond outperformed any other line. The .095 line seems to be a bit brittle when hitting fence post and concrete which is why I prefer the .105. It’s hard to find the .105 in larger rolls like the 5lbs roll but I try to purchase it before we run out. We have a backup line that we haven’t used since 2017 but it’s there just In case we can’t purchase the.105 black diamond. Best trimmer line we’ve ever used. We thank echo for this line and want to see it sold at our local dealers in the 5lbs rolls and not the 3 lbs rolls for the same price or higher than what I’ve purchased the 5 lbs roll online.
