I bought this to replace my first beaver blade that is over 3 years old. The first one cost about $80, they are now over $100. It works pretty good, obviously or I wouldn't have bought a second one. But they are subjected to hit a rock now and then if you live in a rocky country and that will dull it pretty quick. But it can be sharpened quickly until it can't be sharpened again. Shipping wasn't fast at all it took over two weeks to get my beaver blade through SLE who had to get it through DR which charges a bit more than SLE. I have a lot more brush clearing to do so I must try and take care of this blade to make it last a long time because they are probably going to cost more next time I need one.
