This is my third new Dixie Chopper in over 20 years. All three have served me well and keep getting better. I was bidding on a commercially abused 74" 3374 at auction with a bad deck and engine with little oil. I dropped out when the bid exceeded $7,000 so they hold their value well. SLE Equipment was very easy to work with answered all my questions and delivered from stock. The salesman knew the product well and I was able to purchase it over the phone and had it shipped with no issues.
Started with 72" City Slicker in 2000, then 74" 3374 in 2013, and now the 74" 4074 VGE. The 3374 now has 430 hours and the new 4074 about 60. They are used for residential use cutting about 10 acres and woods. The new unit from stock did not include the power deck lift so I kept my existing Dixie for trimming and rough cutting in the woods. Always order that option when possible.
