Don't Work Well on Steiner

I bought these blades for my Steiner to replace #79-068 blades on my MD472 mower.. When I installed them I notices that these blades have a 3/4" offset down which lowers the blades at or slightly below the mower deck sides. (So they will be prone to damage and will throw more things from the deck) Also when I installed them the blades on one side hit each other. There was a slight amount of clearance on the other side. I measured the blades and they are 24-13/16" long and the Steiner blades were about 24-5/8".. I don't consider these blades a direct replacement for the Steiner blades.
The blades did seem to be good quality and were made in the USA.
