    Great value

    I had been looking for months for a 250 gallon smoker. I looked at this one several times as it had the open fire pit mounted on the trailer as well and enough room for me to add my burners as well. I saw it go on sale for $1000 off at Christmas so I bought it. When I called they actually had one ready to go, much to my amazement as I didn't have to wait months to get it. It showed up 3 days after Christmas. I had a problem with a handle and called and they got me squared away fast. In fact the owner who makes them called me personally to make sure they made things right. The reason for 4 stars and not 5. I seasoned it and fired it up to cook in the seasoning and noted the fire box door, when closed still had a lot of smoke coming out from the top of the door. If smoke is coming out then so is heat. I also noted a lot of smoke escaping from the edges of the main cooking chamber door. More than I have had on any other smoker I owned. Now this will be a easy fix with a gasket, which I will do. I also wish and my fault for not looking or requesting a valve check under it for the grease. I will need to get this added so I don't have rodents crawling in there when not in use. Otherwise I'm very pleased with the value and the customer service I received. I retire this spring and can't wait to spend my days smoking on this beast for first responders and victims of natural disasters. This smoker will be crossing the country.
