I bought the z254f Husqvarna zero turning mower during the winter clearance sale. I searched all over the internet since Sept. 2019 and found SLE had the best price. The SLE service was fantastic. They specialize in outdoor equipment and it shows. The mower arrived ready to roll. The crate was a bit rickety and difficult to disassemble. The mower itself is a horse. Actually it's 26 horses and built very sturdy. The only negative was the $200 delivery fee but still, yet the whole package was less money than any other retailer I found. Keep in mind this particular mower takes up the entire width of an 18 wheeler. Most lift gates will not accommodate it so you may need an alternative method to unload.
Had mine about a year now. Am amazed at how quickly I get jobs done, and I never go full speed. I never had a zero-turn mower before. Seems like every time I use it I grow a little bit more skilled with it. I recommend patience in getting used to it, as it will do what you want it to once you learn how to operate it. It's a beautiful mower and has the power to spare.
The mower has performed flawlessly so far, and we couldn't be happier. The pricing and the
shipping {delivered it right in front of the garage} were great.
We love it.
My mower is kept indoors and religiously I do maintenance on it. I have 175 hours on it and it's 3 years old. First time mowing this spring I found the two support brackets on the deck had the welds breaking away from the deck. Warranty didn't cover it as I was told it hit something hard and that caused the weld to split. I don't believe I hit anything especially if it was hard enough to cause that damage. Deck has "limited" 10 year warranty, good luck with that. My repair took 3 weeks to be completed. These are the reasons I'm not satisfied with Husqvarna. I also have a John Deere LA145 that is 7 years old and all the repair I've had to do so far is replace a flat tire.
