Good price for a great product. Came sooner than expected and in perfect condition. Bought to replace my old stihl FS 130 that no longer had any parts availability. Wish it died sooner as this new Husky is twice the machine the Stihl ever was. I bought it primarily to thin brush and understory on our tree farm with saw blades. Have not tried any string heads yet as spring is still several months away. I will use a sting head just as a backup as we have 5 dedicated string trimmers which weigh half as much.
Only fault I can even think of is it seems short for me and makes it tough to saw stumps perfectly level and limits how high I can trim overhead.
This thing is a bear. I can cut more in 2 hours than I can clean up in 6. And that's in dense 1"-4" understory hardwoods. You have to really be alert and hang on as you will not stall it out. The only limiting factor is the 8" blade. If a compatible guard was available, I'd go with a 10" blade.
I'm more than satisfied with its performance with the 8", it just seems that it has more power than blade.
Wood definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a professional brush cutter and pinch hitter string trimmer.
Will absolutely buy again if need arises.
