  1. how much weight can the ramps hold? Can they adjust side to side for smaller wheel base tractors?

    1. Tammy Strong

      2018-05-29 15:05:26

It can hold 2500 lbs of rolling weight and they do slide a little bit.

    2. Matt Davis

Even if this trailer could haul 7,400lbs,the ramps on it are only rated for 2,500lbs of rolling weight per ramp which = 5,000lbs max combined rolling weight on the ramps. So basically you can haul 7,400lbs. You just can’t use the trailer’s ramps to load it because they will fail..

Sorry that is all the ramps will hold.

Only half the weight (2 wheels) is on the ramps at a time.

  2. Ok. So first guy says trailer weighs 2,000lbs and the second says it weighs 2,500lbs.. then guy says it can hold 7,000lbs and two days later he says it holds 7,400lbs. But either way, im guessing this trailer cannot support an 8,500lb skidsteer?

    1. Tammy Strong

      2019-01-03 22:59:47

The trailer has two 5200lb axles which are 10400 lb GVW.  This trailer weighs roughly 2400 lbssubtract the trailer weight from GVW and you can haul 9000lbs.

      2020-01-06 20:43:43

      10400 - 2400 = 8000

  3. Can this be used the transport a Bobcat T740? (operating weight a bit over 10,000 pounds)

    1. Tammy Strong

      2018-02-17 22:14:44

This would not be able haul this amount of weight safely. You would need to upgrade the axles to (2) 7k axles.

Also, I just ran into a problem with not having a professional drivers license you can only tow a trailer whose manufactured stamp has a GVW of 10000 pounds or less. Otherwise need a Class A CDL. I had a trailer exactly like that and hauled 7200 lb mini excavator on it and it was fine for 10 years. Until I got a ticket for the GVWR of the trailer being over 10,000. I guess if you're in a rural area when no one pays any mind to that then you're okay to haul 8000 on that trailer

I have 2 14,000 trailers registered at 10,000. No combination plate needed

  4. I have a 71 monte Carlo, will it sit comfortable on your trailer? Is the wood sturdy enough for such a heavy car( almost 4000lbs)?

    1. Justin Davis

      2017-09-21 20:33:34

The weight rating for the axles would enable this trailer to hold 4000lbs.

  5. This trailer ir really only about 2500 lbs ? How much can it hold, about 10,000 lbs ? I have a 2015 Camaro SS. I am wondering how hard it would be to get onto the trailer because my car is low to the ground ??

    1. Kenny Sickler

      2017-01-07 19:34:47

This trailer can hold about 7,400lbs

  6. what is the total weight the 18' trailer can hold an carry, also do the fenders lift up or remove for loading. an what is the second crank near the bed for

    1. Kenny Sickler

      2017-01-11 20:31:29

This trailer can hold about 7,000lbs and the fenders are not moveable. This trailer is only supposed to have the crank that is up against the trailer but the installed 2 on this one by mistake.

  7. I should be able to pull a 763 bobcat with hoe attachment on with no problems

    1. Darvin Jones

      2017-01-11 23:05:33

Yes, you will be able to pull a 763 bobcat with this equipment trailer model.

  8. Do you have any local stores closer to Pa. 18818 zip

    1. Kenny Sickler

      2016-04-02 20:02:59

My only store is in Nashville, TN.

  9. What is the trailer weight?

    1. Chris Segroves

      2016-03-05 18:06:47

      Approximately 2,500 lbs

  10. What are the tire sizes? Are they 10 ply?

    1. Chris Segroves

      2016-01-12 20:56:24

      On a 5200 # axle the tire is a 225-75-15 8 ply.
