I have several Snapper Pro 52in walk behinds, excellent mowers, have not had any issues since they were bought new. Although currently can’t warrant buying a new one @ $10.000.00
Awesome product and it is essentially a Ferris so if people question if it is legit then they didn’t do their research and both were bought out by Briggs and when they did so they made the snapper walk-behinds exactly like the Ferris ones to a T look at stat sheet it is the same and Ferris is a beast of a walk-behind and have ones from 99 still kicking it and I’m talking about I Work for the County and government and inmate usage for 8 hrs all day during mowing season and seen then flipped and ran off four-foot walls and still kick it right after! I have ran about everything out there they make and all have pros and cons and certainly many are better than others and IMO there isn’t a better walk behind out there and why when I went to buy I got a snapper pro and was looking at Ferris of course as well or first, but found a better dealer near me offering a better price and service so I went with it and haven’t had a regret yet! I’m an equipment operator for parks and Rec and have a side thing, so I have operated just about all including $80,000+ Bat wings which nowadays is what I run the most and like ones for different reasons and each has pros in cons but overall I will go with snapper pro or Ferris for my walk-behinds for sure and to tell you truth it is a different company I like for each piece of equipment from walk-behinds, and push mowers to zero turns and ride one and stand on’s it’s a toss and different again for batwing. My main three snappers/Ferris for walk behind mower, scag Top-end turf tiger (haven’t got to operate the Ferris we have yet cool features though like a double gas tank ) and Have to go with Toro (though I don't like their zero turns at all) groundmaster for batwing and we went from that to Jacobson which is total trash for park use and MB for golf courses but I still wouldn’t recommend and nothing but problems and the groundwater can do twice as much pulling up hills and holding them to being safe and everything in between and less to go wrong like hydraulics and such. They are a b&$@# to grease but I say the more grease fittings the better and it has I think about 56 grease fittings that I remember lol. That’s my two cents
When I first got this mower people said this thing is junk Exmark is the best and I should return it. I've had this mower for the past three seasons with no problems whatsoever. I have mowed grass up to two feet tall with ease. I have no regrets when comes to this machine
All around great machine does great on hill sides have mowed extremely steep hill sides side to side great at striping even without striping kit very low mantiance even when repairs need done very easy to work on dependable an fast I ran one for 6 years managed over a hundred accounts with it an ran it 12 hrs a day for 6 or 7 days a week wouldn't want another
