Let me just start out and say that this is my first new riding mower. Up to the point of buying this all I've ever had were small push mowers. So it's sort of like going from a Ford Focus , to a Ferrari. I have 2 acres of land which took me upwards of 3 1/2 hrs to cut. I dreaded mowing my grass with my 28" mower I had before. I have a lot of trees and other obstacles around the yard I have to maneuver around. So a normal rider wasn't a good choice when it comes to cutting tight around trees. I borrowed my friends once to try and it was just as big of a pain as pushing.
Now for the review of this snapper. I'm beyond impressed with this machine. It fires up without an issue. (I have the kawi motor and 61" deck). It is extremely fast for cutting, I can take the sticks and go full speed and this machine still gets the yard cut. However if you do this please keep an eye on how sharp your blades are.
After driving mine for this season I decided to compare because my friend owns a landscape business and has a $12,000 toro commercial I wanted to try. Other than the arm rests, I noticed no difference in performance. This mower for the price I can not find a better value. I truly think your getting this good of a price because the name doesn't say 'cub cadet, toro, or grasshopper' on it. Snapper zero turns are a hidden secret it seems. I will never have to buy another mower again if this keeps up with the quality it feels up to this point.
