Ferris IS3200Z 5901577 Zero Turn 61" - 37 Gross HP Vanguard

This is the second Ferris mower I have had over the years and they are the best when it comes to a smooth fast ride and cut. Mows grass so fast that you definitly need to use the seat belt! This IS3200Z is a top quality mowing machine.

I owned a commercial landscape business over 20 years ago and used several different brands of riders and all of them hurt my back and kidneys. I recently bought a large tract of land in Central Texas and I mow the entire property at least once a year to keep invasive junipers and mesquite under control. This mower, in the 72" version, will outcut an 8-foot wide brush hog on a tractor and do a much nicer job, more comfortably. The suspension system makes driving on the open rangeland very comfortable. I can mow 3 foot high, dry winter grass at a rate of about 2 acres per hour and it is a very comfortable ride compared to getting beaten up on a tractor with a brush hog.
On top of that, I use the mower to mow the irrigated Bermuda grass runway on the property as well as around the house. I just love this thing! It regularly grinds through small three-foot-high woody junipers and mesquite trees with no problem. I keep the tires full of green slime and I have no puncture issues, either.

I have now had my Ferris 3200/ 61" mower for three mowing seasons. the 3200 is definitely a commercial mower. I use it on 6.50 acres. The mower has proven trouble-free. The suspension system is well built, but you must realize that the mower is built for speed not just puttering along. the faster you mow the more effective the suspension becomes. I have had other high end zero-turn mowers, but have found the Ferris to be a superior mower. The biggest asset is the fact that my wife loves the mower and does a lot of the mowing.

Mows very fast, good looking machine. uses lots of fuel when cutting very tall thick wet grass and weeds. I cut my cow pasture grass when extremely tall thick and wet. Used a bit less than 5 gallons of gas. Cut at full throttle, did very well! First, cut after extremely wet summer. Was very pleased
