I purchased the mower (Model 59020028 serial #40022070- -) in December for personal use and this is my first mowing season with it. My previous mower was good, a Hustler Fastrak, but the Ferris really blows it away. My yard is rough in some areas and with the Ferris it is a soft controlled bounce rather than hard banging, bottoming out, jarring your spin. The seat is great on the Ferris as is the suspension. The Ferris has cut my 5 acre lawn grass cutting time in half because I can move faster and it gives a so much better cut. The only thing that I have to be careful about is slowing down to make sharp turns to prevent tearing up my grass with the rear tires. The thing rides so good, it is easy to go into a turn to fast and as it slows and turns, the tires will slide and tear up the grass if you don’t plan your approach to a turn. It takes a little to get used to but I love my Ferris so far. Only time will tell how it holds up, my concern was about the fuel injected engine but I like the fuel injection so far as it is so easy to start and operate. So far no issues after 20 hours - still new though.
