This is a quality product built by BE, Inc. It extends smoothly and operates with no leaking.
I did the otherwise dangerous gutter cleaning job with no high ladder and without setting foot on the roof.
THE BAD NEWS...
You will need to buy two other items to clean gutters with this pole. (Assuming you have a pressure washer)
1. A dual ended nozzle to eliminate the "rocket" effect (About $30).
2. A telescoping pole harness to save you from SOME upper body strain (About $35).
BOTTOM LINE... KEEP YOUR FEET ON THE GROUND!
The cost for this item was less than the cost for hiring the job done so it paid for itself the first time.
There are a lot of trees here so I need to do this job at least twice a year which amounts to a considerable savings.
If you get good at doing this job you could earn a bit of side money doing the job for others.
You will wind up with some sore muscles if you are not in shape for the job. I was sore the next morning but I am 65 years old so I expected this.
With a "single" nozzle you can use this pole to clean other high surfaces around the home's exterior such as under eaves and with the addition of a pressure washer powered window brush/squeegee attachment, second story windows can be easily reached without a ladder. (Again, about $35)
I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because there is always room for improvement.
