Product Description
Encore EW36FS481V 36" Deck Belt Driven Walk Behind Mower 14.5HP KAW
Features:
14.5HP Kawasaki FS481V Engine A commercial-grade V-twin engine known for smooth operation, excellent torque, and long service life. The FS-series features pressurized lubrication, a dual-element air filter, and superior cooling for consistent performance in demanding conditions.
36" 10-Gauge Steel Cutting Deck Built from heavy-duty steel for durability and impact resistance. The 36-inch deck width is ideal for gated yards, tighter terrain, and properties where larger mowers can’t reach—while still offering efficient coverage.
Recoil Start Simple, reliable pull-start system with Kawasaki’s easy-start design that reduces effort and provides dependable ignition without the need for a battery.
5-Speed Pro-Gear Peerless Transmission with Reverse A robust, serviceable transmission that gives operators tailored control across varying terrain. Forward speeds include a top pace for productivity and slower gears for precise trimming. Reverse gear assists maneuvering in tight spots or backing out from obstacles.
Positive Locking Band Brakes on Belt Drives Ensures confident stopping power and stable control, even on inclines. The band-style brake system provides predictable braking feel and easy maintenance.
Top Forward Speed of 5.0 MPH Allows efficient mowing in open areas while still maintaining operator comfort and control.
4-Gallon Fuel Capacity Large-capacity fuel tank supports extended run time, minimizing the number of refueling stops during long mowing sessions.
Sharp Turning Radius & Trim-Friendly Maneuverability The compact deck and responsive controls allow tight turns around landscaping, trees, and flower beds—making it ideal for properties with many obstacles
I am a private owner and I have had this belt driven lawn mower since 1995. Besides general maintenance, I changed the belts and carburetor in 2015. I literally have had no problems with this machine.
