Over 100 hrs and going strong. This is my second Husqvarna and they get the job done.
Ease of service is a plus.

    Very Good

Bought 1 yr ago and used it full season in southern Louisiana.
Over kill for what I need. 2 ac, flat with many trees and such.
Comfy seat and ride. No issues with the machine.
The previous mower, YTH24V48, was 11 yrs of excellence. That's is why I picked Husqvarna again.

Differences Between MZ54 and Simplicity ZT Contender 54

I purchased the 2020 Model Husqvarna MZ54 in used condition for our daughter's home, with the 24 HP Kawasaki with approximately 65 hours in 2021. I am comparing it to my Simplicity ZT 54 Contender with a 25 HP Briggs and Stratton Commercial engine, which I purchased new July 2020. The MZ54 is lighter and faster with the controls seeming to be a little more responsive. The deck on the MZ54 does not have a rear roller on it for stripping and it doesn't hang from chains like the deck on the Simplicity. Both machines the height control is easily set. The discharge cover on the MZ54 is plastic, and the Simplicity is made of a thick rubber, with neither staying in the upright position without modification. Both units have the same ZT 3100 transaxles, but the Simplicity has independent hydro oil reservoirs and the MZ has just a single reservoir tank feeding both. While both units have high back seats with arm rests, the Simplicity has more cushioning. The Simplicity also has a gage for determining fuel remaining and the MZ does not. The MZ54 start up sequence requires driver in the seat, the lever to be placed in park, PTO disengaged, controls left out to the sides when turning the key. The Simplicity is the same except the arm controls can be closed, since you can't move either unit until you take the lever out of park.
Personally, I like the Simplicity over the Husqvarna because it is heavier built, the deck hangs from chains and has a rear roller that lays the grass over. Both units are sold new at my local dealer which is only 1 mile from my location. The Simplicity is the same as a Ferris, both made by B&S, run down the same manufacturing line with one painted orange and the other red.
