    solid machine

    I have been using Shindaiwa equipment for years and just love them. They are well built and just keep running. I am using their string trimmer, and now two hedge clippers. This extended clipper is great does a great job of getting the higher to reach shrubs with out having to break out my ladder.

    Great engineering

    This is Echo/Shindaiwa's top dog in the hedge trimmer world. Great Japanese quality, not too many players in this market (USA). Wasn't really impressed with the latest edition of Stihl's, (thanks epa), so the choice was btwn a Redmax and this model. The trigger setup I prefer on this model vs the Echo (which is a tad different). Both have the same engine etc.. Really woke up after muff mod though, taken care of should last for years.
