Generac 7642 is a Cold Weather Kit designed for 30 kW to 40 kW liquid-cooled diesel standby generators with the 3.0L engine. This essential kit provides both an engine block/oil heater and a battery warmer. These thermostatically controlled components ensure the generator starts reliably in freezing temperatures by maintaining fluid and battery temperatures, and require the mandatory use of 5W-30 synthetic oil.

• A separate heating element that maintains the battery's operating temperature.

Thermostatic Control
