Great value especially with discounts or fleet, built like a tank and compact with plenty of power.

This is a finishing mower just like many other mowers in the category. Normal mowing is amazing, but if you plan on mowing anything over 3 feet, then purchase a brush mower, seeing as none of these mowers are designed to mow that type of tall grass. Deck adjust meant is super easy. Hydros are quiet, responsive, and powerful with a pump and motor setup. Best single-wheel stander I have ever used for hills. Super compact is amazing but also a downside with the deck design. Normal turns id take in my Ferris z3x 52 would always get all of the grass but in the v554 sometimes I would make a turn and miss a patch of grass. The problem was solved when I changed my turn technique to drag out more. Finishing on the mower never chipped, unlike the scabs I’ve owned in the past. Great mower especially after discounts. But at full price, I would lean towards others mowers like Exmark, for longevity purposes.
