The ECHO CS-355T is an arborist's choice chainsaw featuring a 16-inch bar and is powered by a 35.8 cc professional-grade, 2-stroke engine. The CS-355T is Echo's most powerful top-handle chainsaw and combines professional-grade power with user-friendly features.
As a homeowner I have long wanted a arborist type saw to use for light yard work. After Hurricane Ida I had to use my Dadās old Homelite XL and really appreciated how nice it was to lug around cutting up downed trees versus my trusty Stihl 025. I started looking into the top handle saws and realized between the higher cost of these type of saws and incoming battery power revolution now was the time. For the money the Echo 355 T seemed a no brainer. It starts easy, idles fine and revs without hesitation. It seems well built and should last me the rest of my lifetime. SLE was great to deal with and answered any questions quick and accurately.

Iām very happy about the saws I got the only thing I was disappointed about I ordered the one with the black bars and got grey. Itās fine other than that Iām happy with the saws so far was running 201s and now rethinking on them for the price. I can get two instead of the one and they perform about the same it gets the job done thatās all that matters thanks.

Bought this to replace my Echo CS 330EVL 16 inch saw (1983). Researched item, found CS 355T-16 to have similar characteristics. The CS 355T-16 is an arborist saw because it's light, well balanced for one-hand operation, and controls are well-positioned. It has plenty of power, top-end rpm's near 9000 so it slices through large limbs (10" D) with ease. Log dog is included. Come with speech, scabbard, and housing bolt torx wrench. I am completely satisfied for now. Consumables (Chains, filters, sparkplugs are reasonably priced too). Got mine free shipped in three days( 1300 miles).

While not a professional in the tree trimming business, still want a good saw for jobs around the house. Have used an Echo string trimmer for years and have been happy with the performance. So wasnāt surprised when looking at reviews Echo ranked at the top. Have used my new chain saw for a little branch trimming. Am pleased with the power and ease of use. It seems well balanced. Looking forward to more projects with this saw.

I've used echo before as a pro arborist. Was equal in my opinion to other more expensive saws and this particular saw has gobs' of power on tap to cut through large limbs while using the tool in an extended position, which is common while climbing. it would be foolish to pass on this saw and buy a slightly less costly saw. This is really the one you want. its affordable and SLE has treated me very well. Do business here. If you follow other reviews you'll note that this saw is said to leave oil on the floor after use- news flash: any saw with an auto oiler is going to lose oil to gravity when it is coated on the bar. The handy bar cover directs the bar oil to the heel of the bar. I simply place a oily rag under it and top off before each use and after every refuel. This is not a defect and is actually desirable as it indicated you did not run out of oil before tasks were complete. A dry bar is a damaged bar and dull chain. This saw excels here.
